Dental website design · Websites for Australian dental practices
Dental website design built around the booking, and written to Ahpra's rules.
A dental website has two jobs: get the right patient to book, and stay inside the advertising rules while it does. We build practice websites with online booking on every page, a page for each treatment you want more of, and content checked against Ahpra's rules on testimonials, specialist titles and before-and-after images, for the practice to sign off. Every booking and call is tracked from launch day. We quote after a free call, and a typical build takes two to three weeks.

How we build for dental practices
Four things a dental practice website has to get right.
Principle 01
Booking is the main call to action
A patient ready to book should never have to look for the button. Online booking, from the booking system your practice already uses where it offers one, sits at the top of every page with the phone number beside it and your real hours, including any after-hours or Saturday sessions. Patients search for exactly that: about 880 Australians a month search 'after hours dentist' and 480 'dentist open saturday', according to our October 2026 Keyword Planner pull. Completed bookings are tracked wherever the booking tool allows it.
Principle 02
Reviews and photos inside Ahpra's rules
Section 133 of the National Law bans testimonials in health advertising, and Ahpra reads a testimonial as a positive statement about a clinical aspect: the symptom, the treatment or the outcome. Comments about parking, the front desk or communication style are not testimonials. A practice's own website is advertising, and whoever controls it is responsible for reviews it publishes, so we do not pull unfiltered review feeds onto the site. Before-and-after images follow Ahpra's guidance: matching angle, background, framing, lighting and exposure, any alteration explained, and the treatment as the only visible change.
Principle 03
Specialist titles only where the registration exists
Australia recognises 13 dental specialties, including orthodontics, periodontics and endodontics, and the Dental Board's list makes titles such as orthodontist and periodontist off limits to anyone without specialist registration in that specialty. Ahpra also treats 'specialist', 'specialises in', 'specialty' and 'specialised' as likely to mislead from a dentist without specialist registration, while 'substantial experience in' is less likely to. That shapes the site: 'orthodontist' draws about 18,100 Australian searches a month, but a general practice should build its page around 'clear aligners', at about 2,900, and the treatment it actually provides.
Principle 04
A page for each treatment and location
Patients search by need: about 22,200 searches a month for 'teeth whitening', 9,900 for 'dental implants' and 3,600 for 'cosmetic dentist' in our October 2026 Keyword Planner pull. Each treatment you want more of gets a page explaining what is involved, who it suits, the risks and how to book, without promising outcomes. Each location gets a page that matches its Google Business Profile, with Dentist structured data so search engines read the practice correctly.
Deliverables
What goes into a dental practice website from us.
01
Online booking on every page, embedded or linked from the booking system your practice uses, with click-to-call, your opening hours and tracking of completed bookings where the booking tool allows it.
02
Treatment and location pages written against Ahpra's advertising guidelines, with no testimonials about clinical care and no words like 'pain-free' or 'guaranteed', for the practice to sign off.
03
Team pages that show each practitioner's registration accurately, with specialist titles only for dentists who hold specialist registration in that specialty.
04
Before-and-after galleries, if you want them, built to Ahpra's guidance on matching images, with patient consent on file, and any offer on the site stating its terms and conditions where people can find them.
05
Forms and booking pages that collect only what the first appointment needs, and a privacy policy on the site. The OAIC says the Privacy Act covers health service providers whatever their turnover.
06
Dentist structured data, details that match your Google Business Profile for each location, fast pages built for phones, and a monthly care plan after launch for hosting, updates and small changes.

How we work with dental practices
Quoted after a free call: the build, the care plan, optional tracking.
A dental website is priced on what goes into it: how many treatments and locations need pages, whether practitioner details, photos and consents already exist, how your booking system connects, and whether an old site has to move without losing its rankings. We quote in writing after a free 30-minute call, and publish no prices here.
Website · Two to three weeks
The build
Treatment and location pages, team pages, online booking, Ahpra-checked copy for you to sign off, and booking and call tracking from launch, on the platform that suits the practice.
Care plan · Monthly
The care plan
Hosting, updates and small changes from launch: new practitioners, changed hours, holiday closures and updated fees.
Optional · Fixed fee
The tracking setup
For practices that advertise: call tracking on every advertised number, bookings matched to kept appointments in your practice software, and those outcomes sent back to Google Ads and Meta.
Dental SEO and Google Ads after launch are ongoing management, quoted separately. Our dental marketing page explains how that works.

Run your numbers
Proof, with the working shown
We'd rather show you the maths than the buzzwords.
“Profit Geeks rebuilt our whole sales engine, and not just the ad accounts. They went after the systems sitting behind them too. Sales are up 140% and we've pushed past $25M. Honestly the bit I didn't see coming was the operation running leaner than it did back when we were half the size.”
“We were quietly bleeding about a thousand dollars a week and had no idea why. They found the leaks, sorted out the measurement and the offer, and now we'll do more than $10K in a single day. Same product. Completely different business.”
“We went from scraping together two installs a week to running four crews and fifteen-plus jobs a week, north of $10M turnover. The clever bit was they tied the scaling to what we could actually deliver, so growth never broke the operation. Booked jobs, not vanity leads.”
“After iOS, our Meta numbers stopped matching the bank, and we'd basically been writing the gap off as “just tracking.” Profit Geeks rebuilt our measurement server-side and reconciled it straight back to the P&L. Turned out about $1.42M of ad spend in year one had been working all along. They're the first team that showed me the maths instead of a dashboard.”
“We didn’t spend a dollar more on ads. What they did was fix how we counted a booked job versus a platform “conversion,” cut the wasted spend, and by week twelve our blended ROAS had more than tripled. Revenue went from $4.8M to $9.1M. Same senior bloke on every call too. No juniors, no relay race.”
Frequently asked
Seven questions about dental websites.
How much does a dental website cost?
A dental site is quoted after a free call, because the price depends on how many treatments and locations need pages, whether practitioner details, photos and patient consents are ready, how the booking system connects, and whether an old site needs redirects to keep its rankings. You get the build, the monthly care plan and the optional tracking setup as separate figures before work starts.
What drives website cost in AustraliaWhat makes a good dental website?
Booking that takes seconds on a phone, a page for each treatment that explains it honestly, risks included, real opening hours, accurate practitioner registrations, and nothing that breaches Ahpra's rules. Add fast pages, details that match your Google Business Profile, and tracking that shows which pages bring in bookings, and the site is doing its job. Good design makes all of that easier to use.
Can a dental practice show patient reviews on its website?
Only reviews that say nothing about the clinical side of care. Ahpra treats a positive statement about a symptom, a treatment or an outcome as a testimonial, and section 133 of the National Law bans testimonials in health advertising, including on your own website. A comment about friendly staff or easy parking is not a testimonial. Because whoever controls the website is responsible for the reviews published on it, a widget that pulls every Google review onto the site carries real risk. Ahpra's testimonial tool helps you check individual reviews.
Can we use before-and-after photos on our dental website?
Yes, with care. Ahpra says before-and-after images are less likely to mislead when the two photos are as similar as possible in content, camera angle, background, framing and exposure, posture and lighting are consistent, any alteration is explained, and the treatment is the only visible change. Images that are not genuine, or have been edited or enhanced, can breach the National Law. Get the patient's written consent before anything is published, and treat the gallery as advertising, because it is.
Can a general dentist's website talk about orthodontics or implants?
It can describe the treatments the dentist provides, but it cannot present the dentist as a specialist. Titles such as orthodontist belong to dentists with specialist registration in that specialty, and Ahpra regards 'specialist', 'specialises in' and similar words as likely to mislead when used by a dentist without it. Describe the treatment, such as clear aligners or implants, and the dentist's experience with it in plain terms. 'Substantial experience in' is the kind of wording Ahpra says is less likely to mislead.
How do I create a dental website?
Decide which treatments and locations you want more patients for, gather each practitioner's registration details and photo, choose how online booking will work, and write each page in plain language against Ahpra's advertising guidelines. Then build for phones first, test the booking path, set up tracking and match every detail to your Google Business Profile. If you would rather hand it over, we build dental websites in two to three weeks from kickoff, quoted after a free call.
Can the website take online bookings straight into our practice software?
If your practice or booking system offers an online booking page or widget, the site can embed it or link to it from every page. What varies from system to system is how much of the booking can be tracked: some tools report a completed booking back to the site, others only show that someone started. We check what your system allows on the call, before we quote.
Next step
Bring your booking system and the treatments you want more of.
Start with a free 30-minute call. Bring your current site, the treatments and locations you want to grow, and the booking system you use. We will tell you in writing what a new site would include, how long it would take and what it would cost, and flag anything on your current site that sits badly with Ahpra's rules.
